People's Champ Award: Best of Chaz Ortiz
Chaz Ortiz’s 2014 Season was off to a bit of a slow start at the Monster Energy Pro Open and Stop One in Chicago, but that all changed in Los Angeles when Chaz finished in second place. This second place finish not only solidified Chaz’s place in the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship, but also knocked 2013 Super Crown Champ, Chris Cole, out of contention. Chaz did his best to maintain this momentum, finishing fourth at the Super Crown and sixth overall for the Season.

Berger’s best finish for 2014 was at the SLS Nike SB Super Crown Championship where he finished fifth out of eight, wrapping up the Season seventh overall.

Ishod kicked off 2014 with a huge second place finish at the Monster Energy Pro Open. This big finish helped carry Ishod all the way to the 2014 SLS Nike SB Super Crown Championship. This season was Ishod’s first appearance at a Super Crown, and it ended in a trip to the podium after a third place finish. After a year of strong, stylish and aggressive skating, Ishod wrapped up the 2014 Season in an overall 8th place.

Posing as some kind of wintery wild west with sleds instead of stallions, Cooke City promises the Manboys a hell of a snowboarding time. In exchange, the townspeople demand some of the Manboys’ blood in vials, which they then store in a giant refrigerator down by the post office. Is that weird? They thought so too. Also visited in this episode: Nakusp, British Columbia. Excellent selection of delicious, fatty yogurts in Nakusp.
