Hermès is more synonymous with horse riding than with motorcycling. But the haute leather goods house has once again collaborated with Yamaha, having upholstered the new VMAX Concept Bike in buffalo leather. (Hermès and Yamaha worked together on a similar project 15 years ago.) The waterproof matte leather is available in black and chocolate, and is a sleek complement to the bike’s brushed aluminum fixtures. A matching helmet is also available, upon request. The price tag for the bike is approximately $62,000 and delivery takes from one to four months, but — hey — it’s quicker than a waiting-list Kelly bag.
